Fluted Panel Basin Fountain with Gadrooned Urn Bowl, Catalogued as APF 185

Catalogued as APF 185, the octagonal basin here alternates fluted panels with plain stone faces, a quieter, more architectural rhythm than a fully carved surround. At its centre a baluster pedestal carries a deeply gadrooned urn shaped bowl, the piece that would once have carried the water over the basin below. The stone shows honest mineral staining and weathering across every face. Photographed with the dealer measurements shown, standing just under eight feet wide.
