Carved Limestone Pedestal Fountain Column

A moulded cap sits over a shaft carved with a circular medallion, fitted with a scrolled iron spout that has bled a streak of rust down the stone, and a recessed panel below marks the transition to the base. Moss has taken hold in the mouldings, exactly what two centuries outdoors produces.
